Developed and implemented agile footwear product creation process with use of Kanban and emphasis on Kaizen “continuous improvement” philosophy.

Lead and direct global creative color design and strategy. Created new color design process flow focusing on transitional seasonal evolution across all Mizuno brand categories. Manage team of global color designers in US and Europe. Conduct and facilitate consumer and trend research to influence seasonal color palettes and key material executions that are globally relevant, as well as regionally specific.

Design global and regionally specific running footwear product with particular focus on knitted and advanced textile product executions. Design SMU race event and cause/awareness specialty uppers for regional markets. Lead design for global Women’s specific brand initiative with intention of increasing brand inclusion and outreach in select regional markets.

Design and develop women’s athletic and lifestyle footwear for Ryka brand. Execute footwear upper and tooling design, color, and materials through initial concept ideation, sampling and testing, and production. Conceptualize seasonal design and color directions based on extensive trend, consumer, and opportunity research. Served as point person on Caleres internal innovation team to design and develop new technologies, executions, and product applications for all Healthy Living divisional brands. Present and showcase product line to sales and marketing teams as well as key retailers.

Worked with clientele in furniture, medical, and consumer product industries. Constructed prototype models in accordance with engineering blueprints, developed 3D models as well as 2D drawings for product tooling. Conducted product and material research and innovation to assist client through product design, development and production.
