Kim Mousseau

Team member in Office of Strategic Communications. Providing design and marketing support for all campus departments with a focus on student recruitment and retention. Additionally work with community outreach programs to increase involvement of campus in the local community.

• Direct layout of all in-house periodicals including a monthly full-color home and garden magazine
• Layout weekly regional newspaper with a circulation of 15,000; as well as produce the cover art, advertisements and supplementary advertising pages
• Design and layout additional publications including 4 seasonal travel/holiday magazines and an annual glossy wedding resource magazine
• Manage the design and production department; approve art, coordinate production schedule and assignments, prepare and send files to both on and offsite presses
• Additionally act as copy writer, copy and photo editor, marketing adjunct

including nationally recognized brands- ‘Go Red for Women’ and ‘Ground Round’

Designed promotional material for classes, openings and other events
Wrote, edited and designed a monthly member newsletter
Assisted board president with grant application, disbursement and budgeting

Performed photo and image research on a variety of projects
Redesigned typography on book covers and assisted with reformatting
and resetting front material for book interiors
