I have currently completed a BA in Fashion Design where I exhibited at Graduate Fashion Week.

MY INSPIRATION

Natural yarns and fabrication, handcraft weaves that represent elements of different cultures, city environments that create sub culture style.



GRADUATE PROJECT CONCEPT

Native American symbolic through textiles, casual silhouettes mixed with intricate handcraft. Re-conceptualising what’s deemed appropriate as ‘casual dress'.



WORKING PROCESS

My main interest is in the production and development of textiles that are ethically considered. I would like to produce work that can represent the value of handcrafted work but also aesthetically appeal to exciting directions in style and youth culture.



I WANT TO

Work within a company that values ethical textile production and works towards creating innovative solutions in production that involve handcraft. Menswear or womenswear at a high-end high street or “Catwalk” ready to wear level would be ideal for me.
