Bridging the gap between social, mobile and in-game entertainment, the St. Louis Rams Pick 5 application provided fans a chance to interact with a sponsor brand across platforms and share with their friends. Users were presented with a dashboard on Facebook and through Facebook’s mobile platform on their phone. Given the opportunity to pick five answers to game-day stats. Users make their picks, locking in their selections and giving them a ticket with their five numbers. All users that have selected at least one correct answer after the game are entered to win. In addition all users were given a unique link to invite their friends to play. For each friend they recruit to the application they were given an additional chance to win, helping create viral awareness around the Pick 5 game. After each game the winning ticket was posted on the Facebook page and winner notified.
