Kenneth Shinabery

I am a creative from New York City currently based in Düsseldorf, Germany. For thirteen years I worked in film/tv/print/commercial production management and as a creative in advertising.

After arriving in Germany, I founded the Behance Dribble NRW community which has grown to over 1300 members as of September 2015. I have hosted over 12 events and featured over 30 speakers. I have also been a keynote speaker at the Behance Event in Pescara Italy.

Because of this I was asked to speak at the 2014 Adobe Create Now Event in Berlin. We had a large audience and 2000+ people viewed the live stream. Adobe then asked me to help coordinate and moderate the Create Now Event for Düsseldorf. We hosted this on July 1st, 2014. As a result I asked to join the Adobe Influencer Program DACH and Adobe Community Professional Program. Adobe sponsors my subscription to the Creative Cloud and my Behance ProSite.

In 2014, I was asked by Jens Kellersmann (Head of PR for Wacom Europe) if I wanted to create original content for the Wacom InfoChannel. I have also become the curator for the Wacom Gallery on Behance. Wacom additionally sponsored me by providing me with a Wacom Cintiq Companion 2.

In 2015, I was contacted by the Editor of Advanced Photoshop Magazine (Imagine Publishng). Shortly after I began writing the monthly 5 page interview for the magazine. Within one month or so I was asked to also 2 pages of news articles. Additionally I have been tasked to write special articles for various issues.

Also in 2015, I was asked by the Lürzer Archive to create an original article for their blog. This was a great honor!

I do all this while managing my own personal art career. I have worked on several fashion photo shoots where I came up with the concept. Additionally I work on illustration for private clients.

I am also highly skilled in Public Relations, Social Media, Engagement and Community Development.
