Started working as a freelance graphic designer.

Designed Disney-licensed books and stationery. Duties included rendering compositions, building mock-ups for product development and doing production work for printing. Managed the team from concept to production. Collaborated with the sales team to develop material for presentations under tight deadlines.

Worked on textile projects such as repeats, illustrations, t-shirt print design, embroideries, shoes, and hats. Incorporated concepts such as floating repeats and hand-drawn visual textures for optimal effect.

Designed apparel and accessories utilizing complex repeat patterns, including flip-flops and bandanas. Developed flyers, packages, paper bags, tags, labels, signage and display boxes from the flat phase to mock-ups, for footwear, apparel and accessories. Created planograms for project proposals and to visualize displays for existing products. Job responsibilities included creating brochures, logos, POPs and web materials for a boutique Soho firm. Also did photo retouching and worked with a web designer on page layout.

Designed cosmetic-related POPs, brochures, labels, packages, campaigns and brandings. Position responsibilities included all stages of the design process from conceptualization, to design, to getting estimates and choosing a printer. Required communication with various internal departments such as sales, marketing and management. Managed several aspects of importing new product lines, including branding and re-design for the Japanese cosmetic market.
