few hand rechargeable batteries (crank, squeeze, etc.)
feature-rich + aesthetically pleasing = design opportunity
intuitive buttons + dials

not embarrassing to leave in sight
creates awareness of presence

potential users of varying hand sizes rated different forms and gave preferences
determined: a slightly smaller diameter and a more gentle curve were needed

Emergency survival solution in the form of a flashlight/radio addressing form + function while creating an aesthetic that users won't want to hide in a drawer, but rather leave out in the open- always available for usage. In collaboration with Noah Wangerin and Michael Hansen.
