Kyle Gati

I am an industrial designer passionate about creating meaningful design solutions that marry the needs of my clients and their end users. I thrive off the energy of others, especially when collaborating with designers, strategists, researchers, and other team members.

The focus of my work is to help my clients discover, develop, and visualize the future of their brands through product and packaging experiences.

I approach strategic challenges through a design thinking lens. My toolkit includes concept ideation, CAD modeling, prototyping, and user testing. I am comfortable working in various capacities, including participating in full-day brainstorm / workshop sessions with live sketching, providing support design, and leading design projects and respective teams. The bulk of my experience has been in product and packaging design, serving industries such as medical, housewares, consumer packaged goods, and retail.

My clients are design agencies, strategy firms, large and small corporations, start-ups, and anyone looking for creative input. I am open and flexible to accommodate both larger full-time projects (months at a time) and smaller commitments (hours or days over a period of time). I am set up for on-site or off-site work. I am an advanced user of Solidworks, Keyshot, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

When I am not practicing design, you might find me fly-fishing on the river, teaching and practicing yoga, or tending to my urban honeybees and garden.
