Lexi Vay

I am an designer, animator illustrator currently freelancing and teaching 2D animation courses at Otis College of Art and Design!

For 5+ years, I worked for Hallmark eCards designing and animating over 50+ digital shorts, it was very fun getting to experiment with many different visual styles and collaborate with so many talented, inspiring artists!

I illustrated the children’s book Dorje the Yak, which won the Gold Special Honors Nautilus Book Award for Best Children’s Book in 2020 and the first place Purple Dragonfly Book Award for Best Children’s Picture Book in 2019.

I also illustrated the sequel, Dekyi’s Dream, which won the Silver Nautilus Book Award for Children’s Illustrated Fiction in 2023 and has received praise from the US representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
