Lillian Henegar

Educations in public administration and psychology with talents in communications have helped the organizations I’ve served achieve their goals and fulfill their missions. In my roles with the Governor’s Commission for a Drug Free Indiana/Indiana Criminal Justice Institute and the California Redevelopment Association, I have helped to design, build, and coordinate grassroots outreach and advocacy, particularly training and materials to support grassroots advocates in their efforts. I have recruited and engaged activists and attended to volunteer and leadership development. Communications work has ranged from backgrounders and policy analysis to weekly newsletters and building web-based communities.
