After many years in the field, it’s become clear that A.I. has rapidly transformed the landscape of architectural illustration. Clients are now able to generate renderings in seconds using AI platforms—far faster than the traditional workflows I’ve relied on with SketchUp, Corel Painter, Affinity, Poser, and DAZ.
With that shift, the demand for independent illustrators like myself has all but disappeared. So, I’ve decided to step back and begin an early retirement rather than gear up for yet another technological revolution.
