MFA in Writing Thesis Projects - I designed this book in collaboration with two other students for the MFA in Writing graduates' thesis projects from CCA. We handled nineteen pieces of prose and poetry, and worked with the concept of dispersal, as students were leaving school to begin their new lives. We devised a system to treat each student’s work uniquely, while remaining part of a cohesive whole.
Newsletter poster for wine club (20" x 30") - Upon its opening in Geyserville, CA, Francis Coppola's new winery, Rosso & Bianco, launched a wine club. Along with wine shipments, its members received a quarterly newsletter with stories of what had happened in the previous quarter and announcements of what was to come in the next. Incorporating the winery's unique, informal and somewhat edgy personality, I thought the poster would be a fun format for delivering the news.

Chip Kidd lecture poster - I designed this poster for a lecture by Chip Kidd at California College of the Arts. Playing on his celebrity status, I used one of Chip Kidd’s well-known book jacket designs—that of David Sedaris’ Naked—to attract people to his lecture. After his talk I asked Kidd to sign my poster. “Thanks, Liz," he wrote. "I love it. I wonder why.”
