When I am not working full time I am consulting. Most recently I worked at the University of California implementing a new identity into a 50-page report, a web site for an internal pilot project, and a PowerPoint template and style guide. I relish in the discovery process where I get to listen, extract what the heart of a client’s business is about and reduce it to its essence. I take ownership of my projects from conceptualizing to attending press checks. I have a knack for offbeat compositions and believe in superb craftsmanship.

In collaboration with writers, stewardship officers and project managers, I design solutions such as books, annual reports, and brochures for print and web that tell stories about how donors’ funds impact people’s lives.

I taught Design Research to advanced-level undergraduate graphic design students.
