Lorin Carnwath

Art has always been part of my world since early childhood. I followed my dream and studied Fine Art at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1988 to 1992, and then achieved an advanced degree in Textile Surface Design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City from 1995 to 1996. I then landed careers in textile companies starting 1997 until 2005 as a fabric designer in the weaving industry and then knitting industry. Over the years since 2005 I have been taking classes and keeping up with my artist talent with painting, drawing and other areas of interests. In 2008 I landing one of my watercolor painting in a coffee table book for the Eastern Shore Art Association, A Painter's Paradise while living in Fairhope, Alabama. I have moved to Savannah and still keep up with my favorite art medias with us of computerized programs to put into repeats for fabrics, wallpaper and other surface areas.
