Luis Quispe

Luis H Quispe is a cartoonist and freelance illustrator from Lima, Peru who resides in New York city, eager to make a name for himself in the Arts and comics industry.

Growing up in a low-income family, Luis's love for art started at a young age when reading comic books was the only affordable form of entertainment. He was captivated by the illustrations in every panel, and how every characters' expressions connect to one another from page to page. He would build action figures out of cardboard, deepening his fascination, imagination and creative inspiration for the arts. His creative drive is continuously keeping him refining and developing his work.

He enjoys learning from various artists such as Frank Frazetta, Jim Lee, Sean Murphy, and Cameron Stewart, all of whom he tries to emulate and build his style. He believes consistency is the key to improvement and patience is the key to achievement. As a creator, He would like to share his vision with the world through his characters and illustrations.
