Almost daily, sometimes up to forty recruiters online have some kind of epiphany after finding my resume? "OH MY GOD A DESIGNER AND DEVELOPER IN ONE! I'VE FOUND THE UNICORN!!!"

Oh really :) I can't stand it when I discover during the exploration part of a conversation, that no one has bothered to view my portfolio prior to contacting me about something. Perhaps you think I look very strong for something on paper, and while it's flattering that you like my resume, at the same time - you're supposed to want to work with me because I give your visuals the "look." You might want to stop and see for yourself how I look on a screen as well, I would assume that to be a common sense thing, but apparently not...

The best thing a creative / art director has sometimes is their own intuition, and capacity to be honest, open, balanced but yet demanding, and then the rest boils down to talent and experience really. The role requires someone who can constructively balance out a team when the need arises - yet even like the best art director sucks on their own if you compare their outcome alone vs with the contributions made by a team. If I've left you with an abstract perspective about what to think about me personally, then I've done a good job using my skills.

Unlike everyone else (and their cousin) - that thinks they know what looks great, I've put in endless amounts of time to ensure that I can translate from my head, that always perfect visual, and get it onto a screen without any difficulty. I also have a purposefully diverse, and importantly - equally strong set of experiences. This all allows me to offer a very tailored, and in-depth perspective on a project from any angle of a team, start to finish. I am able to direct anything from a server and database topic, down the line to a marketing and social concept, and all the way into programming and development specifics. That's because I actually can do it all, versus shouting off buzzwords like a moron.
