Concepts in Sketchup explore structure and material in a ceiling lighting fixture. Internal structure consists of flat planes of hammer-textured metal - aluminum, brass or copper – providing diffused reflection. These flat planes of metal are cut into cross shapes, which refract, or break up, the light on the corners. Exterior structure consists of flat planes of walnut, teak or cedar, to provide contrast to the internal metal structure and to complement interior spaces.
