Lynn Trepp

Lynn Trepp is an entrepreneurial + creative leader, strategist, design thinker, educator, innovator, explorer, designer + builder of products, services, experiences, operations, spaces + business models.

Lynn is founder of Modern XYZ, LLC, a strategy, innovation + design thinking consulting firm. Modern XYZ leads client cross-functional teams in strategy, innovation + design thinking workshops, training, research + projects. Modern XYZ helps teams explore, generate + develop concepts, strategies + scenarios for innovative new products, services, experiences, operational processes, systems, spaces, branding + revenue models that build business value, impact culture + inspire people.

In addition to working with clients, Modern XYZ explores, designs, builds, launches + tests product concepts + strategies for its own brand.

Lynn serves as Design Thinking Faculty (online) for Domus Academy of Design (Milan, Italy) / NewSchool of Architecture + Design (San Diego).

Lynn previously served as Product Design + Design Management Faculty, at Raffles Institute of Design in Beijing. Lynn led product design student teams in creating innovative new product concepts for global brands such as IKEA, La-Z-Boy, Jeep, Jaguar, Razor, Adidas, Crocs, Swatch, Apple, Motorola, and City of Beijing.

Lynn earned a Master of Business Administration at University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business, and Bachelor of Fine Arts, Industrial Design, at University of Washington.
