Meijer Express is the convenience store format for Meijer stores. The interior design package updates the aesthetics of traditional gas stations turning the space into an immersive shopping environment. The exterior is updated with new illuminated signage and colors. This design package remained unchanged from 2018 through 2023 and has been implemented in new and remodel Meijer convenience stores and unique new stores in Grand Rapids like Knapp's Corner, the downtown Stockbridge site, and the I-96 and Walker Ave store. The name "Meijer Express" was developed in 2018 and introduced with this design package, and is now the name of all Meijer gas stations. The success of this design series has established it as the foundation for all future evolutions of the Meijer Express design package.
