Malak Elhaddad

Emerging fashion designer passionate about sustainable fashion, textile innovation, and multifunctional design. Born in Egypt and raised in the United States, she draws inspiration from navigating two cultures, channeling that experience into designs that balance storytelling, purpose, and function.

Her interest in design began at home, experimenting with draping and garment shapes, and grew into a focused study of apparel construction and material exploration in college. During her sophomore and junior years, Malak developed a strong interest in textile manipulation and fashion technology, with an emphasis on enhancing natural fibers. In 2025, she was awarded the Fashion Scholarship Fund Award, a milestone that reinforced her commitment to blending innovation with sustainability.

Today, her design philosophy centers on creating adaptable, performance-ready garments that combine function, longevity, and personal expression. Malak’s goal is to design clothing that supports real people, transcends seasonal trends, and redefines what it means to create consciously in fashion.
