As a designer, i believe "design thinking” has the ability to change almost everything that happens to us daily. Because with design thinking we don’t see things to get precise views but a panoramic view with the human being in the center.

By being into sports from young age mainly gully cricket and basketball, it was instrumental in helping me build qualities like “following intuition and staying with the game till the last", to understand success i.e. by making others in team successful (in basketball my main role was rebounder so I let my team mates take the attempt and when they miss I help them to convert, in cricket I was a bowler was not with the runs but i was always good in helping my team defend a target), more than anything, it gave me the previlege to fail fast and safe, it gave me more failures than success which all helped me to be a better designer.

My masters from design came from Center for Product Design and Manufacturing, Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, a institute little known for design but a lot for application and experimentation which gave me a lot of opportunities in learning and experimenting ideas. I was always guided by people who had a great view of looking at things who were correcting and manipulating my ideas which made me comfortable making mistakes and learn.

If not a designer i would have certainly become a story teller in some medium. I love stories weaved in any visual media, in which my favorite medium is nature. I love being nomadic, exploring, conversing with people and hearing stories. I believe a day out in the roads mindlessly wandering with music in ears on my motorcycle is more gratifying than anything!!
