User experience generalist with deep experience in the health care and health information web space. My extensive experience in content gives me insight into how the written word contributes to usability of a product. This, plus my deep knowledge of how humans perceive and make decisions makes me a key contributor when designing a new product or evaluating an existing one.
I am a versatile team member contributing to user insights and product design for web and software products:
1) In learning about the user, I pick the best research methodology for the job. I'm able to explain my rationale simply to all stakeholders.
2) I conduct a variety of user research, explain findings, and offer actionable insights to the product team.
3) I create user flows, and low fidelity prototypes such as wireframes, or I supervise graphics specialists who create them
4) But that's not all! I recruit target users, conduct usability testing, and formulate recommendations.
5) With all this completed, we can hand off a solid product direction for further iteration by other team members.
