About
Hello, my name is Maria Sloan and I am from Coleraine, MN. In the Spring of 2010 I graduated from Greenway High School and May 2017 I graduated from Bemidji State University with a degree in Art and Design with a Digital and Exhibit emphasis. In June of 2015, I moved to Antigua, Guatemala for six months where I studied Spanish at an immersion school for three months and worked as a designer for a bar complex and three bars for five months. Since graduating, I've been doing freelance work for photographers and creating graphic work for a variety of companies such as BitLiquid and Tetrad Enterprises LLC. I am a very passionate, hard working woman and I cannot wait to see where the design world takes me next.

As a bartender, working in a town with so many travelers you learn how to problem solve and think on your feet when there is a communication or culture barrier.
