UW-Green Bay viewbook cover - This 24-page booklet targeted high school juniors and seniors interested in learning about the University and was the cornerstone of the student recruitment publication series. I designed the Viewbook and art-directed or selected all photography, plus handled all color correction and photo retouching. After using this edition of the Viewbook for one year, UW-Green Bay was the first school in the UW System to reach its student recruitment goals and close admissions. http://bit.ly/GTHSyn
UW-Green Bay viewbook page spread - Table of contents / welcome spread. Based on feedback from high school focus groups, the client directed that text be presented in small 2 to 3 paragraph sections, rather than longer blocks of copy. http://bit.ly/GTHSyn
UW-Green Bay viewbook page spread - "Quick Facts" two-page spread. The most prominent design element in the Viewbook is the placement of section heads, printed in red and set in Mrs. Eaves, across the top of the page spread. This aides the reader in quickly locating the information that they seek; short sections of body copy are designed to be read "at a glance." http://bit.ly/GTHSyn
UW-Green Bay admissions "Chat" poster - Another element of student recruitment, this 11 x 17-inch poster was displayed in high schools and sought to entice students to participate in monthly online chat sessions with University staff and students, hence the use of typical chat jargon. Tear-off reminder cards were convenient take-aways.
UW-Green Bay admissions newsletter - The Phoenix Update newsletter was a companion piece to the Viewbook. It was mailed to high school seniors who had been offered admission to the University and sought to inform as well as entice students to enroll at UW-Green Bay. I designed the layout to coordinate with the Viewbook and art-directed the cover photography of UW-Green Bay students.
UW-Green Bay admissions newsletter - Inside spread of four-page Phoenix Update newsletter. I designed the newsletter to coordinate with the Viewbook's format, art-directed photography of student on lower left, and selected the remaining photos based on article content.
UW-Green Bay financial aid postcard - This 5.5 x 8.5-inch postcard was designed to grab students' attention and direct them to go online or call the University and secure their financial aid for the upcoming school year. The client selected this option from several that I presented; I was responsible for art-directing the in-house photography.
UW-Green Bay "Be Our Guest" brochure - Another element of the Admissions student recruitment package, this brochure invited students to plan a campus visit during Campus Preview dates or at their convenience.
