Matt Kirby

A graduate of Teesside University in BA Product Design, I developed a passion for design and in particular, 3D modelling whilst gaining my degree in 2013.

Originally from Middlesbrough in north-east England, I grew up with a passion for creating and making things: LEGO was a particular favourite medium as a child.

This passion ultimately influenced career choices in my education, education, and encouraged me in the development of other keen interests including 3D modelling. That passion, in turn, led to being chosen from worldwide applicants to attend a recruitment workshop at the LEGO headquarters in Billund, Denmark, and as a direct consequence, to developing broader design skills further on the MA Design course at Northumbria.
