With over 12 years of marketing, advertising and design experience, Matthew Martin has helped advance, build and revitalize multiple companies on the international, national and local levels.
He is a graduate of Cazenovia College where he received his BFA in Visual Communications with a specialization in Advertising and Graphic Design.
Prior to his work with UVM CE, he spent 7 years as the Marketing and Brand Manager at Rovers North and Land Rover Vehicle Fleet where he led a cross-functional marketing and design team that managed product development, branding, communication, advertising and all other marketing initiatives. Prior to working with Land Rover and Rovers North, he was the Marketing Manager and Creative Director for NCP where he spearheaded the design and production of clients such as Burton Snowboards, Magic Hat Brewing, North Country Federal Credit Union, Stowe Mountain Resort and many others. Work included design and writing of websites, posters, trade show booths, window graphics, point-of-purchase displays, back-lit and front-lit displays. He also led NCP as the Marketing Director to insure the continued growth and success of the company. Having also worked as a freelance Marketing and Brand Specialist for 12 years, he has had the opportunity to work with many other companies - most notably L.L. Bean, Burton Snowboards and Smugglers' Notch.
Currently the Senior Marketing Specialist for the University of Vermont Continuing Education, he manages
marketing efforts for the entire CE educational programs such as: Summer University, Health, Business, Environment, Food Systems, Post-Baccalaureate and Pre-College.
His areas of expertise include: brand building, holistic marketing, brand governance, internal marketing, integrated marketing, performance marketing, relationship marketing, strategic planning, art direction, identity creation.
