* Responsible for setting up seasonal trend presentations utilizing market samples to represent key items, newness, and key outfits for the season.
* Aligns fabrics, color palettes, artwork and styling with TC baby, toddler, and 4-6X girls to leverage materials for better costing across size ranges.
* Designs 7-16 Girls exclusive items for True Craft across all product categories.
* Establishing newness and seasonal "must haves" for both Zelos and True Craft trough market and trend research.
* Creates seasonal research and development including newness in fabric, trims, silhouette, and technique to send to all vendors within our matrix.
* Responsible for color merchandising the line as well as laying out items by price pointed fixtures.
* Communicates daily with overseas vendors.
* Maintains style presentations boards and fabric boards.
* Reviews and approves proto samples.

PRIVATE BRANDS DIVISION Associate Designer, Knits for True Craft Young Contemporary Responsible for the design and development of all knitwear for the True Craft brand with the collaboration of the lead designer. * Selected fabrics, trims, wash techniques, and other details for all knitwear styles. * Established library of core knit fabrics for the True Craft brand as well as new seasonal fabric development through partnership with sourcing team and overseas communication. * Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to strategize calendar T&A as well the discussion and resolution of outstanding development issues. * Helped to manage and mentor the assistant designer by teaching her the full design and development process. * Actively participated in all knitwear fittings. * Worked with textile team to established brand right prints and graphics. * Identified key knit trends in the juniors' market through researching competitive brands and trend resources such as WGSN. * Participated in the creative direction of seasonal color and concept presentations. * Created technical sketches and PLM packages for all garments in the knitwear category. * Lead style hand offs to the technical design team for new seasonal development. * Owned commenting and approvals on all trim and fabric submits related to the knitwear classification. * Maintained an organized filing system for all submits. * Managed and maintained all information through to final approval.
