Shipping Supervisor:.

Receives and verifies receipt of textbooks and materials against packing slips.
Compares invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify
receipt of textbook and materials ordered.
Contacts vendors or buyers regarding errors in partial or duplicate shipments, prices, and
substitutions for textbook and materials orders.
Prepares invoices for approval including calculating discounts, codes invoices and assembles
back-up documentation for bookstore purchases.
Returns overstock and damaged textbooks for credit within the publishers’ return period and
follows return procedures.
Maintains file of returnable items received from or returned to bookstore vendors for
overstock or damaged books.

MOD-Manager on Duty:

Performs cashier functions for bookstore sales and returns using a computerized point of sale system and College administrative system.
Provides customer service and sales support to students and store customers.
Supervises bookstore support staff and student workers.
Plans, recommends and implements loss control procedures
Responsible for safekeeping of cash till, performing daily cash reconciliations and preparing
bank deposits.
Process all invoices and credits for payment.
Assists in training temporary staff.

Textbook Supervisor:

Works with Instructional Administration and faculty to determine approved textbooks and required materials
Prepares bookstore purchase orders and tracks the receipt of items ordered.
Processes approved purchase orders for textbooks and materials for resale to students.
Calculates textbook and material prices using approved mark-ups.
Organizes and stocks textbooks and materials for resale.
Assists in the annual audit by preparing reports of bookstore activity, conducting physical
inventory and performing account reconciliations as needed.
Maintains confidentiality of data.

Maintain the just opened look and practice all Sanitation Guidelines.
Setup and close the Arcade for success.
