High-leve Design Vision Prioritization & Roadmap
Task management list with Gannt chart for all Designers involved in the project/program including other Lead Designers. Thru Update Requests, I received updates (real-time) to key rows in a sheet from any collaborator, whether or not they have a Smartsheet account.
Card View by Designer showing tasks assigned, who is over-allocated, days to complete, and so on. Card view, based on the agile project management method, gives individuals and teams a highly visual way to work.
Onboarding checklist for those new Designers or those getting reallocated to the project. Links provide details to the components list, program map, current prototype, breakdown of DA tasks on the project, and so on.
Managed recurring bi-weekly meetings with the entire Design Studio Leads. Coordinated agenda items, topics, alert reminders. Every two weeks, Design Leads got together to train each other on new tools, respective projects they are working, process improvement, conferences/training attended, lessons learned and overall sharing of information and problem resolutions.
I created a web form thru Smartsheet, which is a very simple 'ask' for agenda items/topics of discussion during our Leads meeting. A tool to effortlessly collect any kind of information, and can immediately take action and collaborate, track, and manage the data I collected.
During components development, request for design prototypes come from many different places and from many different people. This is a comprehensive list of type of requests, requested by, Designer assigned, priority and progress.
Prototype tracker by Card View - same information sliced a different way (by component type such as Student Edition, Teacher Edition, Decodables, etc.)
I created a web form thru Smartsheet that automically updates the master Prototype tracker upon submission of this request form.
User research/testing checklist & planning. It outlines tasks 3 weeks out, all the way to day-after testing, as well as outlining Due Dates and Designers Assigned.
User research/testing checklist & planning - in Card View that outlines what's been completed, in-progress and what's blocked.
For every usability testing conducted, I created a Participant List which outlines the day/time schedule, what device they are testing on, their experience level, contact info, and who's playing the Moderator/Technician/Entertainer role for the test.
User research/testing Participant List - Card View outlining how many and who is coming in what day.
Planning for Focus group and marketing materials. Outlines who is responsible for delivering final artifacts and by when.
