NEMS x MIKE SEE - Banana Clip Resin Toy - Art Direction, Resin Prototype & Production

This was a FUN project to work on!
Mike See contacted me for a limited resin toy run of his Banana Clip Models for Nems and his new FYL Store in NYC.

I was given fairly final models, so I prepped them for print in several parts which would be easily reproduced in resin.
I personally did a limited run, full molding, casting, and deco in my studio for the initial launch, complete with laser cut acrylic stands.

Then for the store opening, I had them produced at a factory since these had a run of 125 pieces of each version. There were 2 versions of the Banana Clip (AK-47 & .45 ACP), and each version had a ripe and bruised version, totaling 500 pieces for the full run.
I worked closely with the factory to have these match the original Deco Sample. Each model had several Decals and Vinyl stickers that were applied as well.
I also oversaw the packaging production (designs by Mike See) and how the foam insert would be designed.
