A Plush Tribute to Adventure Time
As a huge fan of the Cartoon Network animated series, "Adventure Time," I was compelled to make toys of their characters which were not yet available in stores by Chirstmas 2011. While staying with family, I hand-sewed and embroidered "Lumpy Space Princess" as a Christmas gift for a 5-year old relative. I also hand-sewed together "Jake the Dog" for myself.
For New York Comic-Con and Halloween, I sewed together a "Breakfast Princess" costume for myself at my home studio. So I also sewed a plush version of her sister, the "Toast Princess," as a plush toy to compliment the costume.
