Part-time position working as an event manager for a local performing arts theater and conference center. I interact with staff at the center, clients, security and other parties involved.

At this organization I pushed for better internal communications because many of the staff didn't have email access. My solution of having monitors placed strategically in high traffic areas showing informational slides was successful. I updated the slides on a daily basis, keeping staff in the loop on messages and events. Designing and editing presentation slides, newsletters, brochures, posters, illustrations, marketing displays, book covers, web banners, miscellaneous promotional items. Also serve as in-house photographer for various events. Produced and directed education videos for surgery patients. Leading and coordinating team of 5-6 members in the processing of lab results data used in new prenatal screening process. Managed a team, communicated with software programmers about automation process, and provided physicians and directors with reports.

Worked for Communications group. Supported LANL scientists with graphics and illustrations. Produced in-house newsletter and teamed up with technical writers on reports and books.
