Targeting the curious, exploring couples of the world, my wife, Emily and I decided we'd combine our skillsets and begin documenting our travels and discoveries through blog posts and videos.

After managing my previous position well for over two years, I was promoted to Marketing Designer & Web Manager while my responsibilities remained largely the same with the exception of BlueSky Digital tapping into my skillset for assistance for clients.

I run a myriad services for BlueSky. From managing the website designs, content and media, to assisting with client-facing materials and content, to managing and updating their email marketing.

I started with Newark as a contractor assigned with making general updates to the Newark website including but not limited to product description pages, bespoke landing pages, email graphics updates, print collateral.

Contractor assigned with conceptualizing and designing marketing emails for hand-off to developers. This was a one-month contract. I turned down the extension of contract in favor of a contract with Newark Element14.

At the end of my 6 month contract was asked to come on full-time. While I strongly enjoyed working for the company, in April of 2015, my now wife and I decided it was time to leave Chicago and move closer to our family by moving to the Indianapolis area.
