Milagros González Alvarisqueta

I am a retail designer from Argentina. I have studied a BA degree in Industrial Design at the most prestigious university in my country. My experience turned me into a Retail Designer. I am currently living in Barcelona studying a master degree on this subject.

I have decided to specialize in Retail Design since i have always had a fascination with spaces and its relationship with its users. This branch of design gave me the opportunity to design layouts, interiors and even lighting. Always keeping in mind how to give users a better experience.

My professional experience started in the interior decoration, attending to some of the most important decoration exhibitions as Maison&Objet at Paris and EPCH at New Delhi. Since then, I have worked in two different agencies where my tasks include research, aesthetics and layout, 3D modeling , rendering, mapping, and eventually oversee the facility. Working every day with the needs and perceptions of retail, looking how to improve the consumer experience in the process.

I am extremely flexible, I can adapt easily in any environment, but I specifically enjoy fast paced working environments, because I am very energetic and sociable. I am good at multitasking and time management, going against the clock and making all kind of decisions.

I am particularly interested in working in London, as it has a huge influence on global style and taste. My goal is to work with all kind of brands, small and international. I am particularly interested on the small ones, since nowadays is difficult to survive in this market, so it is a bigger challenge.
