The first painting in this series was inspired by the many succulents that I propogate in my spare time. By removing the planters, the intention is to let the indoor living space become a landscape and an environment all it's own. 9"x12" Oil on MDF.
This was the second piece intended in the series of landscapes that explores the artificial use of nature in one's own home. By separating the aquatic features from the tank, the intention is to let the size of the wood determine how the viewer sees the tank. 9"x12" Oil on MDF board.
This piece was the first in the series that started to fully develop conceptually and become a well-balanced composition. With the inclusion of more indoor elements, there is a shift in tonality and message. 9”x12” Oil on wood.
This piece was the second in my series that finally started to have direction. More home-like elements are composed alongside the natural pieces of landscape. 8.5"x15" Oil on MDF.

Indoor Landsapes

This series of paintings is an exploration of the natural world brought indoors. The elements are deconstructed and arranged in familiar home-like settings. Features are removed or juxtaposed in one cohesive piece drawing the viewer into the scene not often observed in a landscape. This series is still being developed and is open to change.
