This was the first still life set up with the intention of creating a painting. It was important for me to create a piece texturally complex yet airy and light enough to feel life like. 18”x24” Oil on stretched canvas.
Often, it is difficult for me to illustrate an idea inspired by an outside source. This painting was an attempt to illustrate a portion of a poem with my own interpretation. 18”x28” Oil on Birch wood.
