If the design is thought through and well done, people will be drawn to it. I design by thinking through the whole process, from identifying the problem, to the manufacturing, to the consumer experience. And while the many pieces of a project are ever changing, I believe it is essential to remain flexible and open minded, and be willing to go wherever a project leads. At the end of the day, it is most important to achieve an outcome and product that everyone will be proud of.
