Freelance Whales was an American indie rock band that formed in Queens, New York, United States, in 2008. The band consists of frontman Judah Dadone and bandmates Chuck Criss, Jacob Hyman, and Kevin Read. They planned to launch FREELANCE WHALES again in 2020, so they heir me to design their new logo. But due to Covid & other issues they didn’t launch their band. They need a logo with a whale icon & any music icon inside it. I sketch 6 logo design ideas, then convert them into vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator. BXP BOSTON PROPERTIES is a REAL ESTATE firm in Boston, the most populous city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the United States. They needed their logo to use a bamboo house or building with a royal touch. They also need “BXP” in their symbols. I design this logo first on my sketchbook with 2 other designs, then transfer them to Adobe illustrator. “Apple Tea” is an open Tea café in California, USA. This was a custom-made logo, I design this logo in 1 hour because my client knew what he want exactly. These were the client requirements: 1) A simple 1 color logo 2) A cup of Tea 3) An Apple 4) Logo font with a happy feel 5) Easy to remember the logo 6) Easy to understand font. So I illustrate an apple, leaf & Teacup & merge them to create my client’s idea. For the font, I used wider letters to make them prominent & use “e” as it is smiling for a happy feel.
