Nicholas Russo is a multidisciplinary theatre artist and designer based in South Florida. His work bridges technical precision and creative storytelling, with experience spanning scenic construction, scenic art, automation, and attraction design.
Nicholas has contributed to productions at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, where he worked as a carpenter building and installing scenic elements for mainstage performances. At Florida Atlantic University, he held multiple production roles including Carpenter, Deck Supervisor, Automation Technician, and Assistant Props Head, supporting complex academic and public productions from build through strike. His hands-on experience with stage machinery and backstage operations informs his collaborative, problem-solving approach.
As a Scenic Artist with TWP Scenic, Nicholas designed environments, drafted technical drawings, and developed 3D models, merging conceptual design with fabrication realities. He has also worked in themed entertainment as an Attraction Design Intern, expanding his interest in immersive storytelling and experiential design.
