Background

I have worked as an illustrator in the UK for 22 years and in the United States for 12. I gained a First Class Honours Degree after studying at University in Bath, UK. Have had numerous exhibitions in London due to the fact that I do have a leaning towards the Fine Arts in my work. I also lecture at three arts colleges to degree standard.

I use the media of Collage and over the years have built up an immense stock of beautiful and quirky imagery. Often my work has a 1950's feel, this encourages a positive, almost utopian atmosphere to the illustrations. The style is uncluttered with an appreciation of the aesthetic power of space. Pieces are often in relief, sometimes 3D. The desire is to arrest the attention of the viewer and leave them with memories of beauty and optimism.
