Board 1 - The goal of this project was to design a new archaeological park and visitor's center for the Imperial Forum in Rome. Rather than leverage one period of history above the other (i.e. raze everything down to the oldest level), the Strata project chooses instead to carefully reveal all of the diffrent levels, or "strata", of Rome's unique history (republic, imperial, medieval, fascist, modern day).
