Living between myths and reality.

My name is Nyx and I am a 22 years old freelance designer and illustrator. I come from an

architecture background. while doing my studies I started thinking that

archi wasn't really my call, but in the mean time I used to draw all the time and that's the

place where I belonged, in fantasy land with Dr. Stange and Leonardo. The Da Vinci guy not the

Ninja. While I was a student I used to take freelance jobs here and there, doing illustrations for

different project including logos and lettering but at the same time full page illustrations or book

llustrations.

I focus on character design and I am known for my style that is quite cartoonish but different at

the same time. As a 90's kid I grew up with superheroes, comic books and Disney/Anime.

To mention all the people that have inspired me to do what I do nowdays would mean to make a

long list that would take days to be wrote and read but to mention a few: Mario Bros, K. Ikuhara

David Lynch, Marvel & DC Comics, F. Goya, Rob Liefeld, George Lucas, Walt Disney, Da

Vinci-Buonaroti-Di betobardi-Sanzio etc.

On a normal day, I draw, watch Supernatural, read comics and work on The Sunset. I spend my freetime in the shore of Oslo or just annoying my boyfriend.

One of my other big passions is photography of human figures. I find everything human fascinating; face expressions, movement, shadow...It's just amazing.

As you can see I am not Tolstoi with words but I prefere to let my work to do THE TALK.
