Behind the Brooklyn, New York, based studio is the classically trained metalsmith Mia Hebib whose professional career started with the corporate design roles at Liz Claiborne, Henri Bendel and BCBGeneration. Her desire to call upon centuries-old tradition and bridge it with the evolving fashion world led her to create Oblik Atelier.
