PROFILE

I am an experienced, talented, energetic and passionate individual with a clear understanding of the power of design. I possess flexibility to react to any creative challenge in a constantly evolving environment. Hundreds of my design collections have been successfully placed in the marketplace, many of which are patented. I am seeking a new challenge where my strengths and experience can be of great contribution to a progressive organization.

• Experience in housewares and tabletop design: 6+ years experience as Design Director.

Strong management and leadership skills: directed the Design Departments in several companies, promoting team work, training and managing junior designers by setting business goals and directives, evaluating performance based on achievements and identifying strengths and areas for improvement.

• Strong team player with other areas of the organization. Closely coordinated with executives at production facilities and sales groups to ensure flawless execution from ideation to successful products in the marketplace.

• Strong communication skills with vendors, sales managers and retail clients.

• Ability to produce strong results.

• Experience with various production methods and manufacturing processes such as injected and blow molded plastics, casting, bending and stamping of steel.

• Experience interacting directly with leading retail buyers such as Sam’s Club/Walmart; Costco; Bed Bath & Beyond; Crate & Barrel; Babies r Us; Kohl’s; Container Store; Urban Outfitters.

• Fast learner who can adapt quickly to new situations, changing business environments and different cultures.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong work ethic.

• Experience operating and interacting in international environments, particularly with Asia.

• High degree of IT/PC literacy: SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office, Mac and PC.

• Bilingual in English and Hebrew. Basic fluency in Spanish. US permanent resident status.
