ROSARIUM
71 x 19 cm. pencil and pastels on cardboard. This work was made after a night visit to the Rosarium in Vondelpark. Sometimes what we see and what we know do not match. Sometimes it is as if laws of nature are broken or redefined. The #rosarium in #Vondelpark is a #cruising area for #gay and #LGBT persons at night. But seeing the roses grow is a joy in itself.
