This project was developed for the Khosheh Group in Semnan as part of a rebranding initiative for Semnan’s traditional shirmal bread. After a series of brainstorming sessions, we arrived at the central concept: “Semnan’s Shirmal as the Sun of the Silk Road.”
Inspired by this idea, we began developing a character that embodies both cultural heritage and visual storytelling. We drew from the imagery of women baking this golden treasure in the heart of the desert—an act of warmth, tradition, and hospitality. By combining the iconic shape and aroma of shirmal with the symbolism of the sun and the legacy of the Silk Road, we created a unique character that reflects the soul of Semnan’s culinary and cultural identity.
