This piece is part of an ongoing and growing series of small watercolor prayer cards that I create daily as a form of spiritual reflection and emotional wellness. Each piece, a painting within a painting, to be admired for its own unique meaning. As the collection continues to grow over time, it reflects the spiritual journey itself: always unfolding, deepening, and revealing new meaning with each step forward.
The title, Trusting the Process, reflects both the emotional and artistic experience behind the work. Watercolor is a medium that requires balance between guidance and surrender. The paint moves freely through water in ways that cannot be entirely controlled, teaching patience, presence, and acceptance of imperfection. In many ways, the process mirrors life itself. By releasing the need to control every outcome, we create space for growth, healing, beauty, and unexpected possibilities to emerge.
