In 2024, www.pat-ann.art opened as an online shop for original artwork and merchandise under the personal brand names PaleoGirls, Gwelf, and ShadowBirders. In addition to working on product lines, I created a visual idea development studio dedicated to clients who need whimsical illustration, character design, concept design, and visual brainstorming.

-contracted to illustrate one of the "Animals Illustrated" books in 2022
-contracted to work on one half of a storyboard for a short Inuit film
-from July 2007 to June 2008: was contracted to create full-page colour illustrations for a children's periodical based on Inuit folklore

-illustrated and designed the book cover for a soon-to-be-published book (more to be revealed when the book's out)

-was contracted to work on black and white illustrations and cover design for a book titled, "Hapenny Magic" by Jennifer Carson

-contracted as a storyboard artist for the children's television show "Rob the Robot"

Working through Jennifer Carson ( www.thedragoncharmer.com ) to illustrate her middle-grade book, 'To Find A Wonder.' To be published by L & L Dreamspell and released in the spring of 2010.
For this project, I will be illustrating the cover and the black-and-white interior illustrations.

-created illustrations for small press children's publications and designed the artwork for corporate greeting cards

I illustrated a series of first novel books for girls named "Kingdom of the Frosty Mountain" by Emerald Everhart.
The illustrations consisted 5 digitally coloured cover illustrations plus black and white interior illustrations.

-designing various giftware ideas and collectibles

-I was contracted with the Duirwaigh Gallery agency as an illustrator
-While I was under contract, I created story ideas and fantasy art to be sold and reproduced as prints.

-illustrated poems for various issues of Cricket Magazine and Ladybug Magazines

-designing home decor for the giftware industry

-worked as a contracted designer and assisted Misha Knierim in Hong Kong and in Dongguan, China
-I was assigned to create Seasonal and Holiday designs.

-I boarded an interactive video game called "Cyberchase."

Nelvana Animation 1995-2001: Progressed from Storyboard Clean Up Artist (1995-1996) to Junior Storyboard Artist (1996-1997), Senior Storyboard Artist (freelance, 1997-2000), and 2nd Assistant Director (freelance, 2001).Advanced rapidly to senior storyboard artist, where I was responsible for refining scripts, storyboards, and composites. As 2nd Assistant Director, I coordinated production activities and ensured creative consistency.Contributed storyboard work to animated television shows, including Little Bear, Franklin, Anatole, Redwall, Flying Rhinos Junior High, and Timothy Goes to School, shaping visual storytelling and scene pacing.Developed storyboards for film sequences in Franklin and the Green Knight, The Little Bear Movie, and Heidi, collaborating with Directors Arna Selznik and John Van Bruggen to visually interpret scripts and enhance narrative flow.• 2nd Assistant Director on the second season of "Timothy Goes to School” under Director Gary Hurst.
