The goal of this full time, seasonal internship is to develop skills to become environmentally
responsible mentors for the urban Milwaukee community. Interns experience the full scope of
Urban Ecology Center summer education programming at our park branches. Interns serve as
mentors to high school outdoor leaders, assist with visitors, programs, and general operations and
perform other projects as needed.

• Work with Environmental Educators to develop and teach camper-centered activities for summer
camp students
• Oversee and plan camper activities during before- and after-camp sessions
• Prepare materials for summer educational activities
