About
Hi, my name is Pia Nyakairu. I'm currently a 3rd year Industrial design student at Carleton University in Ottawa. My nationality is Ugandan and I love being able to travel and explore different cultures and surroundings that often open my eyes up to different perceptions of design. As a designer, I would like to be able to create products that will have a long and positive impact on various users. Furthermore, I aim on designing products that outline simplicity, culture, color, creativity and self-expression. Apart from design I have a passion for music, painting and old classic movies. I am looking for a 4 month internship and I am eager and willing to learn more about design.
